18th Century Carnation
The 18th Century Carnation is a reproduction of a 1761 embroidered pocket book piece. Flowers and herbals inspired early needlework designs that were used on rugs, curtains, bed hangings, accessories, and many other small objects. They were worked in crewel, cross-stitch, needlepoint, and other forms of needlework. The finished miniature hooked rug is 2-1/4" x 3-1/2". Floss packs offered in the Make A Selection Box.
