The 1850 Floral is a reproduction of a miniature hooked rug made in 1850. Flowers inspired early needlework designs and were used on rugs, curtains, bed hangings and other small objects. They were worked in crewel, cross stitch, needlepoint and hooked in rugs. The colors are in keeping with the historic piece. The finished miniature hooked rug is 3-3/4" x 2-1/2".

The 18th Century Carnation is a reproduction of a 1761 embroidered pocket book piece. Flowers and herbals inspired early needlework designs that were used on rugs, curtains, bed hangings, accessories, and many other small objects.
