Little Sisters Bird is a reproduction of an 1847 quilt piece. The original quilt, named "Little Sisters Quilt", was made in New York State. Flowers and birds inspired early needlework designs and were used on quilts, rugs, curtains, bed hangings, and many other small objects. The finished miniature hooked rug is 2-1/2" x 3-3/4".
